The night was deep. There is silence all around. A young man sits in a small hut on the edge of town. His name is Arup. Arup is about thirty years old. Life has not given him an easy time. He lost his parents in childhood and became an orphan. Since then he is alone. Grow up by fighting life.

The old woman cried holding Arup's hand and said, "Father, I will be grateful to you all my life for this kindness of yours."
Arup puts the old lady to bed, and brings her some food. The old woman slept peacefully after eating. But Arup's mind still has many thoughts. He thinks, “I myself am in a difficult situation. So how can I help this old woman?” But immediately his mind said, “Humanity is great. Don't miss an opportunity to help people."
Arup could not sleep the whole night. When the light begins to break in the morning, he goes out. He decides, no matter what, he will take charge of this old woman. After returning from work, he spends time with the old woman, listening to her stories. Days passed like this. A smile appeared on the old woman's face again. Arup realizes that he is on the right path.
But one day an unexpected event happened. When Arup was returning from work, some boys blocked his way. One of them said, "Do you know that the old woman you sheltered is not from our area. Why did you let him stay here?”
Arup calmly replies, “It is our duty to stand by people. Wherever he is, he is human. It is our duty to help him.”
But the boys were not satisfied. They threaten Arup, "If you don't get him out of here, it won't be good for you."
Arup was not scared though. He knew what he was doing was right. He returned home and told everything to the old woman. The old woman cried and said, “Father, you don't have to suffer so much for me. let me go I will go somewhere else.”
Tears came to Arup's eyes. He says, “No mom, I won't let you go anywhere. What I am doing is right. You stay close to me.”
That night Arup decides that he will not be afraid. He promises that he will stand by people in any situation. He knows, there will be many more obstacles ahead of him, but he is ready to face everything.
Finally one day those boys came and attacked Arup's house. They want to throw out the old woman. But Arup came forward. "You can beat me, but I won't leave him," he says firmly. There was determination and courage in his voice.
The boys were shocked. They understand, defeating this young man is not easy. Finally they go back.
Arup's life changes a lot after this incident. The villagers started respecting him after hearing about his bravery. He sows seeds of hope and humanity among the villagers.
