The sun was in the middle of the sky, walking in the alleys of the city alone Maya. Maya is a painter. There was a mystery in his painting, which was reflected in every canvas he painted. But today, Maya felt a huge void in her mind. He could not do anything. The scratch of the palm of his hand was not catching anything else today. A word was spinning in the mind — 'Bindu'.
Maya felt as if she was searching for an invisible point. The point that will define the meaning of his life. From his childhood he heard, 'Everything starts from a point. From the dot comes greatness.' But he never fully understood the mystery of that tiny dot.
From the beginning of her artistic life, Maya has always been looking for something. While searching, he has come a long way, got fame and reputation. But somewhere something is left incomplete. No matter how many colors are played on the picture canvas, the canvas of his heart remains blank.
Maya thought, she has to go somewhere to find the reason for this restlessness. Maya who came from the village to the city one day decided to go back to the village. The green nature of the village, the song of the birds, the flow of the river may give him his answer. Maybe he will find his lost point in nature.
After two days, Maya returned to her childhood village. The little house is still standing, but a little old. Seeing the mango tree standing in the courtyard of the house reminded him of his childhood. Maya sat under that tree. Picking up a handful of soil from the soil, he felt the deep pull of the roots that kept him coming back after all these years.
Back in the village, he first visited the old pond, where he and his friends used to spend time swimming as a child. The huge banyan tree standing on the bank of the pond is also the same. Only the water in the pond seemed much clearer than before. It seemed that there was something in that clarity. Looking at the pond, Maya felt that the missing dot might be hidden under the water of the pond.
But the point is not only under the water, it can also be inside the mind. Maya decided to go around every place in the village, to see where she had lost that little dot of her life.
Maya spent her days in the village, but still her restlessness did not subside. Every day at sunset he would go and sit on the bank of the pond, but he would not get any answer. One day he met an old woman sitting near the village temple. Maya told him about her restlessness. The old woman smiled and said, "The point is everywhere, mother. What you are looking for is not in the outer world, but in the inner world." Maya was surprised. "What do you mean by inner world?"
The old woman said, "The point you speak of is not a visible thing. It is a matter of feeling. You will find that point when you are in tune with yourself. We all start from a point, and from that point our lives are built. Until you can return to that point, you will not find peace."
Maya's eyes opened. He had been looking outside for so long, but the answer was inside him. The calm environment of the village seemed to indicate the inner journey.
Hearing the old woman's words, Maya again walked towards the pond. He sat on the edge of the pond and saw his reflection in the water. And that's when he realized that what he was looking for so long outside was inside him. Within himself was the point from which his creation began. That point was his being, his soul.
After that, Maya no longer looked for inspiration outside to paint on canvas. He learned to capture that point of his heart in every painting. His image became deeper, more vivid. Maya realized that a new world is hidden in every point of creation.
The point that he was looking for so long, is no longer outside, but inside himself. From now on he will spend time with that point every day. Life also starts from a point, and that point showed him his way.
This point symbolizes not only his creation but also his spiritual journey.
