**Radhe Radhe**

Blue reigns in the autumn sky. The light of the morning has emerged little by little. Radhika is sitting by the calm river. There is a strange indifference in his eyes today, a lamentation of an imperfection in his mind. The rest of the girls of the village come to the ghat in the morning and are busy picking flowers, their noise is floating in the water of the river, but Radhika's mind seems to be far away from that noise.

Radhika is a girl from Gopivallabhpur village. The whole village is fascinated by the beauty of his form. He is like an art work of nature, has come close to the earth and has caught it, as if he has poured softness into his body and spread a magical smile of tenderness on his face. But hidden behind that smile is a deep pain, an imperfect love story.

Radhika's beloved Krishna. Krishna - the shepherd boy of the village, whose sweet melody of playing the murli fills the entire forest. His interaction with Krishna dates back to when both were young. Gradually that friendship turned into a deep love. Radhika's heart trembled when she heard Krishna's call 'Radhe Radhe'.

One morning Radhika was sitting on the bank of the river waiting for Krishna. That day was not like any other day. Krishna has not been seen for some time. No one knows where he has gone, what he is doing. The people of the village began to say that Krishna has been sent to Mathura for royal duties. He has to fight against King Kamsa. Radhika's heart is broken.

After Krishna's departure, the days seem to have stopped. For Radhika every moment is infinite pain. There is nothing but the memory of Krishna in his mind. Radhika counts the days in the hope that Krishna will return, but that day never comes. One day, Krishna's murli was heard all over the village in the spring breeze. Villagers came one by one and told that Krishna has not returned from Mathura. He breathed his last in that battle.

Radhika felt as if the sky had collapsed. There is no Krishna, no sound, no words, only memories remain. But he also realized that without Krishna his life has become meaningless. He decides one day to go to Krishna's old ghat, where they used to sit together.

Reaching the bank of the river in the morning, Radhika knelt down. His eyes are streaming with tears. That melodious call of Krishna rings in his ears—'Radhe Radhe'. That call kept piercing his heart, but now it wasn't real, just a memory.

Radhika closed her eyes and sat. He started looking for Krishna in his heart. He saw his own reflection in the reflection of the river water. Krishna's shadow was seen there. He felt Krishna's touch. A soft smile appeared on his face.

At the end of the day, Radhika slowly stood up. The memory of Krishna gave him strength. He realized that even if Krishna disappeared from his life, that 'Radhe Radhe' call would remain with him forever. Krishna will never really be lost to him.

Radhika slowly walked back to the village road. The smile of peace on his face, the melody of Krishna in his heart. He has no more trouble. Because he knows that Krishna's love is not only in memory, but deep in his soul. That love is what gives him the strength to live.

As he reached the entrance of the village, he heard the sound of 'Radhe Radhe' kirtan coming from the temple. Radhika went and stood in front of the temple. An idol of Krishna is installed inside the temple, where 'Radhe Radhe' kirtan is performed daily. He sat in front of the statue and bowed. He felt that Krishna had come alive in this image.

Radhika's heart is full today. He realized that Krishna is not only for him but for everyone. He is in everything. In that 'Radhe Radhe' melody, in the ripples of the river water, in the murmur of the leaves of the trees—everywhere is the presence of Krishna.

On his way back to the village, he came out of the temple and realized that his journey began now. He will spend the rest of his life with Krishna, with memories, with love.

Tears of joy in Radhika's eyes. No more pain, only a deep peace.
