The world moves according to the rules of time. No one can stop it, stop it, or even change it. Everything changes over time—people, nature, relationships, and feelings. But the story of time is not only seen from one side, because the meaning of time is different for each person.
Early in life time seems endless to us. Time is not understood as a child, it is understood only in play, fun and joy. Time moves very slowly then, as if each moment of childhood is prolonged. Time is like a big swing, which is slowly swinging and we are enjoying it.
Arjun grew up in a small village. The village was called Shalikpur, where he spent his days surrounded by paddy fields, ponds, and the chirping of birds. Arjuna was ten years old at that time. After returning from school, he used to go to play football in the paddy field with his friends every day. These games were one of the best times of his life. At that time Arjuna thought that these blissful days would never end.
But time moves at its own pace. One day after playing football, Arjun's father called him and said, “Arjun, you are growing up, now you have to focus on your studies. Game time is over now. You know, your grandfather was once a very respected teacher in this village. Now is the time to concentrate on your studies and become a virtuous person like him.”
Arjuna was upset. He thought, why time changes everything so quickly? Why can't he hold on to this happy time of his childhood? Still, he accepted his father's words. Gradually reduced sports to studies.
Time passed. Arjun is now a college student. After entering college, the trajectory of his life changed further. From that familiar environment of the village he entered the busy life of the city. With new friends, new environment, and burden of new responsibilities, his life took a new shape. Meanwhile, he found himself far from the peace and quiet of Shalikpur.
Time flies like a bird in the busy life of the city. Arjuna has now learned how precious time is. In the rush of college courses, projects, exam pressures, and new responsibilities, she sometimes reminisces about her childhood days. But with the passage of time, those days fade away like fog.
Arjun's college life is over. He is now a successful engineer. But time once again taught him a great lesson. Now he realizes that time is not the only measure of personal success. One day mother said to him, “ you could not spend time with him. You were busy with your studies, and grandpa was waiting for you.”
These words of mother deeply affected Arjuna's heart. He understood that time changes not only our lives but also our relationships. When we don't value time, it never comes back. Arjuna began to wonder, which is the real time in life—when we achieve success, or when we spend time with our loved ones?
Arjuna began to grow old. With time many more changes came in his life. One day he felt that those sweet moments of his childhood were the real wealth of his life. He also realized that he had to learn to use time properly. Now she tries to enjoy every moment, spend time with her loved ones and wrap herself in their love.
Arjuna grew old one day according to the rules of time. Her children are grown up, they too have busy lives. Arjun now sits alone and remembers how time has changed. He now realizes that time is the only true resource in life. If we can use this time properly, our life becomes very beautiful.
He remembers those days in Shalikpur—paddy fields, ponds, and the chirping of birds. He realizes, people change over time, but memories remain. He clings to those memories, as if they will give him peace for the rest of his life.
Arjuna's life story is a story of time. He learns, time never stands still, but using time properly makes every moment of life worth living. Every chapter of life comes and goes with time, but within those moments lies the true meaning of life.
In this ongoing flow of time, if we cherish every moment, our life will be so beautiful and fulfilling. Therefore, time must be valued properly, because once time is gone, it never comes back.
